Great Manchester Run 2015,Alzheimer's Research UK and Family and Friends

Well yesterday i took part in my first really big race,The Morrisons Great Manchester Run,finished in 58.41,had a great day running for a really great cause in Alzheimer's Research UK,was a really nice course with an excellent atmosphere,Thank you to all of the people who cheered all us runners on,Certainly made the whole thing easier
        The Reason i chose Alzheimer's Research UK all goes back to the 90's when whilst a teenager i lost my Grandma to Alzheimer's related complications,i never really knew her that well due to family complications but we had just reconnected not long before she was diagnosed so ive always kind of felt cheated out of all those years ahead we could have had,add on top of that my wife also lost her Grandmother to the disease also many years ago
         Also a close friend Sara lost her mother earlier this year after a long battle with the disease, and so it made it a no brainer to run this race for that charity in memory of those close to me and also all those out there who lost family and friends to this cruel disease that robs people of the person they love right before their eyes
